    NameBeer Pong #1
Instructions The materials you need for this game are some cups of beer, a ping pong ball, and a table. The game is best played with either two people or two teams of two. Arrange the cups of beer on either side of the table like you are setting up bowling pins. You should have at least six cups on both sides. Each team takes a turn by trying to get the ping pong ball into the other team's cups. If they succeed the other teams must drink that cup. The cup is then removed and the rest of the cups are rearranged so that they are close to each other. Each team alternates turns like this. When all the cups on one side have been cleared the team that cleared them wins and the other teams must finish any cups remaining on the winning team's side.

    NameBeer Pong #2
Instructions There are two different roles, a spiker and a server/setter. There are two teams, each with one server/setter and one spiker at opposite ends of the table. Put two full beer cans next to each other on each end of the table. The server for one team serves the ping pong ball. If his/her serve misses the table, serve again. If this serve misses, take a drink. Miss again and it's nothing. Miss for a fourth time and the server and his partner drink half a beer. This repeats itself after you miss the serve more than four times. When the serve is good, the setter attempts to hit the ball to the spiker on the other side, without having the ball hit the table. It is permissible to play the ball off of the walls or ceiling. The spiker tries to hit the beer cans with the ball. If he misses the cans, but hits the side of the table the beer cans are on, the original server serves again. If the spiker misses the table, then the other server must serve and the original server becomes the setter. If the spiker hits the beer cans it's a point and the other team drinks half a beer. Even if the ball hits the cans, it is still in play and the other team can attempt to play the ball off the cans. This is very difficult. If the cans are hit and the other team can not make a play on the ball, the team that hit the cans gets a point. The first one to four points wins and the losing team drinks the remaining beer on the table. If it is a shutout, 4-0, the losing team must finish the beer on the table and another beer. Two side notes. If the beer cans are ever knocked over, the team that knocked them over must drink a beer. Also, when bending over to pick up the ball, you must call out an agreed safe word, safety works for us, or else any other player may smack you on the rear with a ping pong paddle.

    NameBeirut
Instructions This game is similar to BeerPong. Depending on number of players and desired level of intoxication, pick a number of cups for the back row (five is usually good for two on two). After the back row is set up, fill in the rest of the cups in a pyramid shape, with the point near the center of the table. Fill the cups about 1/4 full with beer. The teams then shoot the ping-pong balls at the cups, and if a team sinks one, the other team drinks that cup. If a team gets an airball (flies off the end of the table without hitting the table or a cup), then the person who threw the ball has to drink one of their own. Here is where a variation can come into play. One version of the game keeps all of the empty cups on the table until there is one cup left (then they all get cleared except for that one cup). In other versions, when the number of empty cups equals the number of cups in the back row, all of the empty cups are cleared and a new, smaller pyramid is formed. When it is down to the last cup, there are a few special rules. If a team sinks the last cup, then the other team has a chance to defend themselves. The number of people that threw on the "offensive" team relates to the number of catch-up shots the "defensive' team gets. So, if the one team sinks the last cup on the first try then the other team only gets one shot to catch up. If it is one cup to one cup and the defensive team sinks the catch up shot, then it is like sudden death. A diamond is made out of the cups (three more are added to each side) and the game proceeds using the same rules as regular play. The team that loses has to drink any beer that is remaining in the cups of the winning team. Usually, the winning team stays on and takes on a challenging team. Variations: Satellites - Some versions of the game use satellites, which are two cups, half full, placed on either side of the tip of the pyramid (see illustration below). These are just like any other cup in play. x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x Hourglass - This uses all of the same rules as regular Beirut, the only thing that changes is the number of cups. In this version, the two points of the triangles meet, and the back row is as wide as the table. Use as many beers as you feel comfortable with, but try and make the cups 1/4 full. Blacklight - Same as regular beirut, except fluorescent cups are used, white ping-pong balls are a must, and obviously, a blacklight. This is really fun after a few rounds!

    NameBlow Pong
Instructions You need one or more ping pong balls, a table, and as many people you can fit around it. Each person gets their own glass of beer. Everyone has to get down on their knees or bend down low enough so they can easily "blow" the ping pong ball around the table. You can either do this in teams or every man for himself. The object is to blow the ball off the table on your opponent's side. You can not use your hands or block the pong with anything. You can only use your own air. Start the ball in the middle of the table, and when someone says "GO" you all start blowing. When the ball goes off of the table, the person who's side it went off of (or team) has to take a large gulp of beer. You can decide to play for points (first team to 10 for example) or till the beer is gone. Then you make the loser (losers) drink the rest of the beer in the remaining cups. It's a good game to play when everyone is happily buzzed with a lack of coordination.

    NameMystery Pong
Instructions This is a game for 2 people, but you can have rows of these going along a table. Or you can always rotate positions, but only 2 at a time. Similar to Beirut and Beer Pong, but instead of beer, fill the cups 1/4 of the way full of various hard liquors or other mixed drinks (margaritas, mudslides, sex on the beach, etc). You can make the pyramid however big or small you want it to be and however many different drinks you feel like filling. Also, shuffle the cups after each round so that the one team doesn't keep hitting the cup filled with the really bad stuff, just to watch the other person squirm. Refill, don't remove, the cups as they are emptied. Play until one person falls out of their chair or passes out on the table and knocks over the playing field (trust me, I've seen it done). You can get REAL plastered REAL quick this way. Additional Rules, for more fun: Each side gets to make up one "Blaster" cup for the other team. This cup is 1/2 of the way full with whatever the team wants to put in it (Hint: more than one kind of alcohol is KEY.) After one team hits the "Blaster" it won't be long until the end.

    NamePing-Pong Quarters
Instructions The game requires one highball glass, 1 to ?ping-pong balls and beer. It works sort of like quarters with a ping-pong ball. Put a highball glass in the middle of the table. Choose how many ping-pong balls you want to play with. 3 balls work well with 3 people, 4 balls work with 5 people and so forth. Drop the balls on the table, everyone must grab for the ball. When you get the ball, you may shoot it at the glass. A ball must bounce at least once at the table. If you hit the glass you take out the ball and throw it at someone. If you hit the person they must drink.

Instructions To play this game you will need 4 players, 2 ping pong balls, and a ping pong table. Each team goes to an end of the table and sets up their cups like this. Be sure to use the 2 satelites on the corners of the table. Each cup is filled 1/4 with beer. x x x x x x x x Each team takes turns throwing the ping pong balls into the opposite cups. If a shot is made, the other team must drink the cup. Then set the cups up so they are all touching again. The game continues until one of the teams has made all the cups. When the last cup is made, the cup is not drank until after the "retaliation". For the retaliation, both balls return to the team with no cups left. They get to shoot both balls, if they make a cup they remain alive with that one cup left. If they miss both shots, the game is over. The winning teams stays and takes on the next two challengers.

    NameTep
Instructions The game is usually played with 2 teams of 2 although 1 on 1 has been known to happen. Each team sets up at opposite ends of a table with 10 cups, each 3/4 full. One member of one team starts by trying to bounce the ball on the table once and then into a cup. Then the other team returns. Partners alternate drinking and throwing. After each "hit", the cups are reset so that there are no empty spaces [diagram below]. The winner is the first team to hit all 10 cups and the loser must finish the winners beers. Cup setup: * * * * * * * * * * After 1 hit: * * * * * * * * * After 2 hits: * * * * * * * * Etc... One may not throw the ball if that person is behind in his drinking. A player is allowed to continue as long as they only have 1 beer to drink. If the player whose turn it is to throw has more than 1 beer to drink, the game must pause until he is down to 1 beer. Players MUST keep up with the drinking. Variation: It also works well when the bounce is taken out (throw directly into the cup).
